The Lenovo ThinkAgile HX Series are hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) appliances and certified nodes that run the Nutanix Acropolis software on Lenovo ThinkAgile servers. Each scale-out cluster is comprised of a minimum of three nodes (HX1000 supports single node configuration) and has no specified maximum. Hypervisor options include VMware, Hyper-V or Nutanix’s KVM-based AHV.

Lenovo HX Series appliances and certified nodes come in 1U, 2U or 4U form factors, with either 1 or 4 nodes per chassis. There are a wide range of hybrid and all-flash configurations with up to 112 cores per node (4-CPU Intel) or 64 cores per node (2-CPU AMD). The HX1000 is single-CPU only. Lenovo also offers GPU support, a storage-heavy model and one designed as a replication target.
