NetApp BlueXP is a SaaS based solution for management of NetApp systems both on-premises and in the cloud. Announced in 2022, BlueXP is a data management solution that builds upon the previous NetApp Cloud Manager. BlueXP provides system and data management functionality for all NetApp ONTAP systems including Azure NetApp Files, Amazon FSx for ONTAP, NetApp Cloud Volumes ONTAP, Cloud Volumes Service for Google Cloud, and on-premises NetApp ONTAP systems.
BlueXP provides a number of data management capabilities including storage deployment, visualization, security, and governance. The software acts as a unified control plane for NetApp ONTAP solutions and integrates with a number of other NetApp solutions, including NetApp Cloud Data Sense, NetApp Cloud Backup, and NetApp Cloud Insights to provide a number of multi-cloud data management capabilities.
BlueXP can be used to configure and deploy storage in any of the supported clouds as well as discover and connect additional storage from on-premises ONTAP clusters and cloud object storage services.
