VeeamON 2023
During the week of May 23, 2023, Veeam hosted its VeeamON customer and partner conference in Miami, Florida. Through more than 150 in-person and online sessions, a variety of product demonstrations and panel discussions, and one-to-one briefings – and with the support of 25 customers speakers (the most ever at VeeamON) and 220 partners – Veeam leadership and staff provided insight into the company’s strategic objectives and its portfolio roadmap.
Takeaways from VeeamON
Product Strategy
Arguably the biggest takeaway from VeeamON 2023 was that Veeam is no longer the single-solution virtual machine (VM) backup company. That theme resounds into 2023 from two key standpoints:
-First being the breadth of workloads that Veeam protects, extending well beyond its wheelhouse in onpremises virtual machines (VMs) and the maturity at which it protects them.
-Second being Veeam’s ongoing foray beyond backups, into proven recoverability and monitoring and analytics for cyber-resiliency.
