HCI & Integrated Infrastructure Category now covers HCI, CI and Composable

Boulder, CO October 2nd, 2018. Converged Infrastructures (CIs) are rack-level systems of compute, storage and networking components that are designed, pre-configured and tested for specific workloads or use cases. Implemented by manufacturers, distributors or VAR partners, CIs usually follow a list of certified or validated designs and can be delivered pre-assembled.

CIs are part of the Integrated Infrastructure category, along with Hyperconverged, designed to reduce the time and effort required to get enterprise data center infrastructure into production and to drive further consolidation and optimization of data center resources. CIs can increase the agility and lower the cost for IT departments being pressed to stand up infrastructure faster than the weeks or months that traditional server and SAN systems can take.

As more CI products come to market, Evaluator Group has today announced the expansion of research to cover this technology. This research includes an Evaluation Guide, a side-by-side comparison of CI solutions and concise Product Briefs providing highlights, usage, Evaluator Group’s opinion and a review of each product using the Eval(u)Scale methodology.  The CI products currently covered in this new research are:

The Converged Infrastructure Evaluation Guide is free of charge while the side-by-side comparison and product briefs are available via premium subscriptions beginning at $2,500 for IT professionals. Click here to access the free Evaluation Guide and contact us to learn more about premium subscriptions.
